Drift Strategy #1

My strategy was to explore the areas that had a lot of life in it. I wanted the areas to be lively and busy. So I searched for the areas that had that sound I was looking for, the sound of life and people in that surrounding. I use different methods of distorting the recording of the rounds by inserting the mic with in a empty bottle or covering the mic with my shirt. This is just a collection of sounds which I will later mix together and use for the future blogs of this class to create a sort of clash of cultures by blending them.

Drift Map

My drift takes place on Fond Du Lac and Burliegh to 51st and Burliegh. This is the area I explored while doing my drifts. I wanted to use a familiar area, because I would already know where I could go to get great sounds and eventually see things in a way I haven't seen before in this environment.
